Luna Language's Certified Instructors

Kate grew up in a small town in central Washington where she was exposed to the Hispanic culture and language at a young age. Motivated by her desire to connect with people of other cultures, she moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2006 to attend ECELA, a rigorous Spanish immersion course that, along with her travels throughout South America, deepened her relationship with the Latino language and culure.

Upon her return to the U.S. in 2008, Kate earned her ESL certification and began teaching English to Hispanics. She is currently majoring in Spanish and Cultural Anthropology at PSU, and plans to return to Latin America in the near future.
